[CXL] Golf for a Cure for Parkinson’s Disease

Since 2009, we have facilitated an annual golf tournament to raise money for The Michael J Fox Foundation. During that period, Lake Ashton has donated in excess of $460,000, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to finding and funding a cure for Parkinson’s disease.
On April 4, 2020, we will be hosting the 11th annual golf tournament, which will also be our last. To be clear, this is not because the disease has run its course and is preventing the author from leading the community’s extraordinary generosity. Between the tournament and other obligations to the Parkinson’s community, the author has found himself back at work full time.
So, the last golf event will take place on April 4, on both courses as usual. The tournament will be the same format as before (four person scramble). More details will be forthcoming as the event date gets closer. The goal is to reach an 11-year total of $500,000 for the Fox Foundation. Thank you for your continuing support.
